Selena Gomez is in the spotlight with a new movie to promote and some hot puppy love with teen sensation Justin Bieber. Through it all, the 18-year-old has looked exquisite and is emerging as young Hollywood’s most fashionable ingenue.

Over the past month, Selena has appeared on a wide variety of television shows, at such special events as the MTV Movie Awards and her own movie premiere, of course.

Through all of her turns in the spotlight, she hasn’t missed a beat, fashionwise.At the MTV Movie Awards, she wore a Giambattista Valli dress and Casadeishoes, with defined eyes and pretty pink lips.“We like to separate when she’s promoting a movie, as apposed to being a musician,” her stylist, Basia Richards, said in a recent interview.“When she’s representing herself as an actress, we opt for classic, pretty looks, we like to keep it clean and let the outfit speak for itself,” Richards said.For the Billboard Awards, Selena wore a slinky black Dolce & Gabbana dress.It exuded a demur sexuality with a slit up the front and cutouts at each hip. My personal style is definitely more classic: I love flowy pieces, white and black, very neutral and organic. The fashion pieces that I have to have would be scarves and boots--you can basically wear them at any time of the year. You can wear a scarf with a sundress because it's very cute and girly."
